About Our Client:

We are a hospice based in West Yorkshire, dedicated to providing specialist care for individuals aged 18 and over facing conditions such as cancer, heart failure, and lung disease. Our services range from inpatient care in our 15-bed hospice to day services that enable individuals to stay at home longer. Our care is accessible to residents in Craven, Airedale, and Wharfedale, as well as central, northern, and western areas of Bradford.

About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking proactive individuals to join our client's team and contribute to providing the best possible quality of life for our patients. Our care approach is personalised to address the medical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of each individual.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans following evidence-based guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of care delivery in compliance with regulatory body standards and our Quality Governance Policy
• Providing support, leadership, appraisal, and supervision to team members as required
• Acting as a representative of our organisation to service users, their families, colleagues, and the public

We are flexible regarding shift patterns and welcome discussions about long and short shifts. All Registered Nurses are expected to participate in internal rotation covering nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

About you

You should be a registered nurse with the NMC, possessing post-registration experience. While experience in Palliative care is advantageous, we encourage applications from nurses with diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn. Essential attributes include the ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrate initiative, and possess excellent communication skills.
