Summary
Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) are seeking a Band 6 Specialist Major Trauma Dietitian to join our diverse team. The post will also be suitable as a band 5 to 6 progression post. The post holder will gain experience working in a large busy acute teaching trust.
The post holder will work alongside colleagues within the Critical Care dietetic team to support the timely delivery of nutritional intervention for those admitted to the following areas: major trauma, critical care, neurosurgery and complex rehabilitation

You must be a registered dietitian that has suitable previous experience working with complex patients..
The role will require the post holder to undertake nutritional assessment and treatment of patients who may have highly complex and/or chronic presentation and work closely with other members of the ward multidisciplinary teams (MDT). This will include attendance where required at best interest meetings, ward rounds, MDT meetings and service improvement meetings (such as clinical governance).
The dietetics department offers various development opportunities and can provide additional training.
