Summary
We are looking for a hard-working factory operative to assist in our manufacturing process. The factory operative’s responsibilities include, preparing materials for the next process or delivery to the end client, packing on our gluing machines. keeping the production area clean. Working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.
To be successful as a production worker you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy.
Factory Operatives Responsibilities:
• Manual Packing
• Checking quality on moving product
• Following health and safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor, general housekeeping.
• Meeting and monitoring quality standards
• Following production guidelines and specifications.
• Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.
• Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical dexterity.
• Available for shift work during peak times.
You will initially be working on a set day shift, 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday with the opportunity of a permanent contract after the completion of a 12 week probationary period. Position to start early May.
