Summary
The Ridings Centre is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our cleaning team.
This is a Part -Time Permanent role 15hours per week - The suitable person would need to drive a 3.5 tonne Luton Van with tail lift and be available 3 x days per week Tuesday 10.30am -4pm / Friday 8.30am -2.30pm / Saturday 10.30am – 2pm with an option for overtime to cover holidays and sickness
Duties/Key Responsibilities
The role is to ensure all tenants waste is managed daily by means of
• You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team and can work under your own initiative.
• Provide a cleaning service that is professional and to the highest standards at all times
• Collecting full bins from the units by means of a Luton Van with a tail lift
• Operating the paper compacting / cardboard bailing machine
• Pressure washing the bins
• Assigning a clean bin to the unit
• To ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
• To build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
• Adhere to all in house Health and Safety Environmental policies and procedures
• Use cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations

• Driving Licence Requirements
• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment.
• Good timekeeping and attendance are important.
• Jet washing - using a high-pressured jet washer
