Summary

Grants Fundraising Manager

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Grants Fundraising Manager to identify and develop funding opportunities for an international children's charity.

Position: Grants Fundraising Manager

Location: Remote with occasional travel to London

Salary: £35,343 - £45,839 per annum + excellent benefits

Hours: Full time

About the role:

You will collaborate with the fundraising teams in the UK and Africa to build new business and partner relationships for the organisation. By working together to co-create compelling plans to achieve both limited and unrestricted income, you will raise the charity's profile with funders. In order to establish and preserve long-term funding, you will oversee the funding portfolio for institutions, trusts, and foundations and develop connections with current funders.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record of securing income from a range of funders, have experience of creating compelling proposals and managing pipeline.

What you will do:

- Work with the Head of Fundraising and the wider team, to help design and deliver Fundraising Strategy.

- Map and monitor the external funding environment to find opportunities, including new funding and partnerships.

- Manage grants and build exceptional relationships with donors, inspiring them to continue their vital support for our work.

- Find and research donor prospects, developing plans for those worth pursuing.

- Work closely with your colleagues, produce high quality proposals and impact reports in line with the charities branding guidelines and values.

- Help develop and improve systems, processes and policies for grant funding and management.

- Attend meetings and events.

- Monitor and report on the financial performance and KPIs of the grant funding pipeline.

- Support activity across the wider team.

- Travel once or twice a year to visit overseas teams and projects.
