Summary

Role Purpose

To provide health and safety, security and environmental advice to the CBUL O&M, Reactive Civils and Planned Work teams, and work with the teams to ensure company procedures and statutory requirements are in place.

Role Summary

• Provide competent H&S, Security and Environmental advice and reports to the company as required
• Undertake workplace inspections and audits, undertake accident / incident investigations as required
• Undertake project work when required
• Working with both internal and external clients as required,
• Attend meetings with both internal and external clients as required.
• Occasional out of hours working will be required.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Technical Specification
Experience Required

• Experience health and safety advisor minimum 2 years’ experience ideally in utilities or construction.

Essential Qualifications

• Nebosh general certificate, NVQ or similar in Occupational Health & Safety.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience of the Construction Industry
• Experience in utility or civil engineering contracting (preferred)
• Understanding of sewerage network operations
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
• Level 3 AET instructional qualification – (PTTLS)
