Protocol Education are recruiting an unqualified learning support assistant to work in schools across Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gather the essential experience of working in schools to contribute to your future career goals. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for working with children, in schools, and aiding in the progression and success of students. This is a rewarding role where you can create a lasting memory in children's lives for helping them grow and develop into respectful and prosperous young adults. Experience or Personal Experience working with children or educated to a degree level is preferable.

You will be support students who have a range of SEND conditions along with those who suffer with SEMH disorders. Candidates should be empathetic and have a good understanding of how to support students with SEND and SEMH.

This role will begin on a temporary/ trial bases however our educator do secure long term roles within one school.



Requirements & Responsibilities

• Right to work in the UK.

• Full Time Placement (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30)

• Aid the teacher in daily activities e.g. , equipment handling, help students, assist with the teacher's schedule.

• Work with children with SEND needs.

• Experience working with children is preferable (not required).

• Play a role in the social and academic development of impressionable students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
