The team supports flexible working, with a mixture of on-site and home working. The primary base for this role is Trust Headquarters at the City Hospital campus, with travel between the Trust campuses, as the need arises.

As Quality Assurance Manager within the Quality Assurance and Compliance hub you will support and deputise for the Head of Quality Assurance & Compliance in providing comprehensive and high level support to Trust Board, Trust Leadership Board and Board sub-committees to deliver the Quality Assurance agenda across the organisation.

This role includes day to day management of all enquires to the organisation from the Care Quality Commission(CQC) and the Integrated Care System (ICS) as well as supporting the Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance in the delivery of other areas of the Quality Assurance portfolio.

The post holder will play a key role in preparing the organisation for any planned or unannounced CQC and/or other regulatory inspections or service reviews.

The post holder will ensure that effective systems and processes are developed, maintained and monitored to ensure accurate, high-quality and timely information is available to meet internal and external requirements.

This role will also support in the delivery of a number of legal requirements as part of the external assurance process which include but are not limited to: monitoring of improvement and action plans in relation to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 warning notices and imposed restrictions on the registration by the CQC, ensuring CQC registration details and Statement of Purpose reflect the services the Trust provides and meet the Trust’s legal, regulatory and accountability requirements.
