Purovets has an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join a wonderful team of experienced vets, RVNs, students RVNs and lots of support staff at a small animal practice in Norwich.
They have an experienced and supportive team across the group with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology and four other vets currently studying for certificates. They are equipped with top-of-the-line veterinary tools, including a brand-new ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, multi parameter units for both theatres and a full in-house lab. Appointments are 20-30 minutes in length with an hour's admin time each consult day to allow time for call backs/lab reports etc.
The strong and supportive nursing team are experienced in taking x-rays, bloods and placing patients on fluids, as well as billing of all the vets surgical and medical day patients. You will have all the support and assistance you could hope for. They are always looking to improve our standards with regular clinical meetings and CPD.
If you are a new or recent graduate, you will be supported from day one by a dedicated mentor/Vet GDP Advisor and will be able to take paid leave to attend the varied CPD programme for new graduates. With genuine support and emphasis on your wellbeing, you can realise and maintain your full potential in an environment that encourages a healthy work/life balance. You will not be in sole charge of cases until you are ready. Our client's Graduate Development Programme offers a two year programme with no financial tie-ins, guaranteed starting salary of at least £34,000 per annum with reviews each year, 10-12 clinical/non-clinical structure CPD days a year with covered travel costs.
Norwich is a lovely city to live and work in. You will be only half an hour from the beach, fifteen minutes from the broads and yet only five minutes away from the city centre. Norwich city centre has an amazing array of shops for those that enjoy their retail therapy, as well as the wonderful cathedral and even more beautiful architecture.
Role:
- Salary up to £60,000 DOE

- 1 in 4 weekends; Saturday 9am - 6pm and Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm
- No OOH
- New graduates considered
