Summary
Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Caerphilly
Salary: £11.50 per hour to £13.35 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm
Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Press Brake Operator to work for a company based in Caerphilly on a Temp to Perm contract.
Main Job Roles:
- Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
- Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
- Bending and shaping mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum etc to customer specific requirements
- Carrying out tool changes between jobs
- Measuring and checking dimensions
- Produce quality parts in a timely fashion
- Inspecting work for quality
- Compliance with health & safety and relevant certification
- Communicate effectively all issues affecting smooth daily operation
Required Experience
- At least 3 years' experience of press brake operation
- The ability to understand, interpret and work from drawings
- Able to work off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality output
- An efficient approach to your work, applying lean principles where possible and to ensure deadlines are met
- Understanding of accreditation and certification standards.
- Effective clear communicator
- Other tasks may be required
