Summary
ROADFREIGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Offering £23,000 TO £24,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm (40hrs per week)
Based in Wednesbury (WS10)
UK Transport / European Road Freight / Freight Forwarding / Groupage & Full Load
Seeking to recruit a ROADFREIGHT CUSTOMER SERVICES OPERATOR to join a small and busy team based in Wednesbury.
Our client provides road freight services throughout the UK and Europe and has a CUSTOMER SERVICE vacancy in their Roadfreight division.
The day to day duties will include:
• Taking bookings and enquiries,
• Obtaining rates from hauliers and network partners,
• Booking freight,
• Arranging collections and deliveries,
• Creating running sheets, and manifests,
• Completing documentation,
• Updating system and spreadsheets
• Speaking with customers via email and telephone
• Rescheduling deliveries and collections
• Liaising with the warehouse team for loading and unloading vehicles
• Billing out shipment files.
The successful candidate will ideally have worked in UK Transport and or International Roadfreight, possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be a team player, able to work well with colleagues, carriers/partners and customers.
Full Training on systems and processes available for the right candidate
