Are you passionate about patient care? Join our supportive community-based paediatric team.
• Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated band 6 children's nurse to work across our Children's Community Nursing Team and our Paediatric Bladder and Bowel service.
• Focus on acute conditions: short-term enteral feeding, IV antibiotics, oxygen therapy, wound care, and support for long-term conditions.
• Running bladder and bowel clinics alongside the specialist nurse to review and manage continence health in children and young people.
• Collaboration with allied professionals, the wider multi-disciplinary team, social care, and local education providers
• Seeking a Band 6 children’s nurse with motivation to work in our integrated Children’s Community Nursing Service, across both community nursing and bladder and bowel.
• Requires the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative nursing team.
• Involvement in acute and long-term condition treatments, continuing care assessments, and support for clinical nurse specialists.
• Special duties include supporting clinical nurse specialists in bladder and bowel to review, assess and manage children and young people's enuresis, constipation and other continence health needs in a dedicated clinic 2 days a week.
