Summary


Since launching in 2009, H&F Talking Therapies has become a well-established and friendly service now offering the rare vacancy for a Senior PWP. We welcome applicants from those who enjoy variety, new experiences and autonomy.

We are particularly looking for applicants interested in developing a career within the PWP profession. We are looking for a candidate who can offer commitment to the role for at least 18mths to support their development and to adequately offer support to those they line manage and supervise.

In a senior position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
• Support the Step 2 Leads and Lead PWP in the operational management of the PWP team.
• Holding a small caseload and working with some of the more complex Step 2-appropriate cases seen within the service.
• Provide case management, clinical supervision and line management for Trainee PWPs and other B4 Step 2 roles, e.g. Assistant PWPs.
• Assist in clinically related admin, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. Have opportunity to lead on smaller project
• Work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You should be committed to equal opportunities.
• Work to recruit, on board and induct new members of the Step 2 tea

Comprehensive in house management, supervision training and CPD to support your development in post and beyond.

The successful applicant will have a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification, be registered with the BABCP/BPS, supervision experience and a can do and compassionate approach to management.

Please note that this post involves being able to work at least one evening session per week (12pm - 8pm) offering face to face clinical appointments.
