Summary
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our Tudor House Care Home in Selby, North Yorkshire
Hours: 41hrs (Gross) 38.5 hours paid. - 7.00-3.00pm
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Main purpose of the job is to prepare, cook and serve quality meals and refreshments, for people within the care home, ensuring specialist diets are catered for.
Maintain documentation of all food ordered and served.
To monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and store areas along with all equipment.
Order stock and maintain stock control within set budgets. Previous experience is required, however working in an environment for older people is preferred but not essential.
Applicants need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and also be able to work as part of a team.
You will need to manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure their roles are adhered to by guidelines set by the company, health and safety and environmental health.
Qualification - NVQ or 706/1, 706/2 is preferred but not essential.
You will be required to work alternative weekends. shifts are daytime only so no evening or night work is required.
