An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Paediatric Stoma and Urology service at the Great North Children’s Hospital.

The service is looking for a Band 7 Paediatric Nurse to join our friendly, supportive and motivated multi-disciplinary team.

We are a regional service providing a high standard of care to children with complex bowel and bladder disorders within the hospital and in the community including in nurseries and schools.

All applicants must be self-motivated and have a flexible and enthusiastic approach, be RSCN/RN (Child) qualified with experience within the associated field.

• Are you resilient and ready for a challenge? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 7. The post holder will join a highly motivated team of specialist nurses, supporting and managing the care of children with complex bowel and bladder disorders.
• All applicants must be self-motivated and have a flexible, enthusiastic approach with leadership qualities and the ability to drive the service forward, with evidence of professional development at degree level or equivalent.
• As the post involves some travel throughout the northern region, a current driving licence is essential.
