Summary

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

Our Kitchen Assistants are pivotal to the food operation within our care homes and the role provides vital support to our Chefs.

Everything we do is about giving our residents a place to call home and we’re looking for Kitchen Assistants with commitment and dedication.

Food, diet, and nutrition is more important than ever, particularly with age. Some of the health issues associated with old age can change the dietary requirements of the elderly. Maintaining a balanced diet, tailored to our residents’ needs is vital to maintaining better mental and physical health. Our team of care staff continuously monitor, assess, and provide the nutritional needs of our residents along with information on any specific dietary, religious or cultural requirements.

Mealtimes are an extremely important part of the day within our care homes, and it is vital that our Kitchen Team are passionate about working together to deliver tasty, nutritious, and varied meals using fresh seasonal ingredients.

Passion, drive, and enthusiasm are key qualities for a Kitchen Assistant and for many this is the start of their culinary journey into becoming a Chef one day. However, if you’re happy in a support role that’s ok!
