What you'll be doing...

As a Cook/Catering Assistant, you will have plenty of responsibilities and opportunities to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tasty home cooked meals with help from the Chef's instructions on his days off. Help maintain Kitchen & Dining Room Hygiene standards.
  • Occasionally help serve our residents at Lunchtime & Dinner time, offering a warm and friendly service, and help to clean down, using dishwasher etc.
  • Being Flexible to help cover both the Chef's and the Catering Assistant's holidays
  • Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed - training will be given.

We are looking for someone with experience working in Catering cooking basic but tasty soups, main meals and desserts. Someone who is flexible with days and shifts. They can range from 10am to 6pm, 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm approximately.

Working Pattern: 16-30 hours per week over 2-5 days
