Summary


Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital are looking to recruit a Database Co-Ordinator to support the Long Term Ventilation (LTV) Team in managing the equipment needs for our patients in the community.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, pay attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities, using your own initiative to solve problems. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across staff groups, always conducting yourself in a professional manner.

The main duties of the post will be collating, updating and arranging servicing and repair of equipment for our LTV patients who are at home. This role is essential to maintain safe and efficient home ventilation provision to our patients.

You must have an excellent range of interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable liaising with people at all levels. You must enjoy interacting with our patients and their families and helping them with any queries.

You should have an excellent telephone manner as the role involves contact with patients and staff on the telephone. You will have all-round administration and customer service skills, good numeracy and literacy skills, organisation/ prioritisation skills, attention to detail and a willingness to be trained.
