Summary

**Regional Account Manager**

**South West Region**

**£40,000-£50,000 D.O.E.**

**Performance Based Bonus Discussed at Interview**

Our client are looking for an experienced Account Manager, covering the South West Region of the UK.

Purpose of the role:

To drive demand and create new business opportunities for the clients control systems and other technology products and services.

Developing customer account relationships and increasing their share of the rental and retail revenue from their technology products and services. You will be expected to be key in the achievement of monthly rental targets.



Key elements of the role:


* Maximise opportunity to increase rental revenue and business share
* Monitor all rental activities to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective solution is provided for the customer
* Identify rental sales opportunities and utilise CRM to document activity and rental demand
* Work in partnership with the internal colleagues as needed to ensure first class customer service, revenue and profitability are delivered
* Manage key accounts to ensure equipment and service meets the customers needs
* Achievement of agreed KPIs



Key Performance Indicators:


* Customer hire response time
* Weekly performance reports
* Monthly revenue performance
* Utilisation
* Stock management



Key relationships (internal and external)


* Customers
* Site Engineers
* Area Sales Managers/Regional Sales Manager/General Sales Manager
* Service teams



Experience required:


* Experience in similar sector and previous experience in a customer service role
* Experience of plant hire or construction hire equipment in a sales role
* Strong customer service ethic and seeks to resolve issues
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
* Ability to communicate at all levels across the company
* Customer focused
* Effective planning and organising
* Problem solver
* Experience in technical sales (desirable)
* Experience of working with a CRM system (desirable)
* Technical knowledge of machine control market (desirable)
* Ability to interpret information and present numerical data (desirable)
