Groundwork West Midlands is a charity working to transform lives in communities experiencing poverty and disadvantage. We aim to build community capacity and resilience; tackle hardship; reduce inequality; and enable people to lead healthier, happier and more prosperous lives.
We have a great opportunity for someone to join the team and play an important role working with community groups and helping them to apply for funding.
We are looking for a positive and motivated individual to support various groups and primarily work on our Tesco Community Grants programme.
As part of this role you will:
Promote the project via Social Media
Liaise with community groups providing support and advice
Have good organisational and administration skills
Be enthusiastic to learn new skills and help local communities
A full driving licence is essential for the role which entails occasional travel to various groups / venues around the West Midlands.
