Summary
Duties and responsibilities include overseeing the production of dishes
To prepare, cook and finish foods.
To monitor the production of food and ensure consistent quality and presented to the highest standards.
Responsible for ordering quality stock and stock taking relevant to his needs in his specialist area to
ensure a smooth operation of his section of the kitchen.
To maintain high standard of personal presentation and
hygiene whilst preparing food and to assist in the training and development of staff.
Responsible for the preparation of all various south Indian food items such as Sambar (more than 5 varieties),
Rasam and vegetable accompaniments dishes that forms a part of
wholesome traditional south Indian meal (Generally known as South Indian Thali).
Also prepares many items, which can suit persons with diabetes disorder, maintains related kitchen equipment’s.
