Summary

Join the Discovery family, where quality and service are at the heart of everything we do.

Discovery Land Company is a US-based developer and operator of private residential club communities and resorts with a world-renowned portfolio of domestic and international properties.

Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club is Discovery’s second European private members-only golf & sport community. Nestled between two national parks and at the head of Loch Tay in Kenmore, Perthshire, the club incorporates several land estates and is rich in history with dramatic views and offers endless adventures.

This private lifestyle-driven community will offer 125 residences, a redesigned world-class golf course and practice facility, wellness and recreation facilities, a range of outdoor pursuits as well as a refurbished 19th century castle to offer a clubhouse with a range of food & beverage outlets and indoor activities. Taymouth Castle offers a membership that values its relationships, its health, its leisure time, and is a modern community that honours Scotland’s strong legacy of history, outdoor adventure and, most importantly, fun.

*Please note- the selected candidate must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship**

The position of Chef de Partie within our culinary team is key to the daily running of the kitchen team in which you belong. A section leader and trainer of junior chefs, you are our Sous Chefs and Head Chefs of the future. Culinary experiences are an essential element of our member experiences where our culinary team offer a creative range of food styles and environments.

We currently offer an outdoor kitchen at The Grouse House with its spectacular views across the golf course to the castle. Our Wild Kitchen experience is located right on the bank of the River Tay and enables us to showcase local quality ingredients where our members cook over charcoal at their table. We pair these experiences with thoughtfully designed cocktails and wine to encapsulate all that is unique about our club. The Laird’s Hall on the Glenlyon Estate offers a truly Scottish experience from start to finish with baronial style feasting centered around produce gathered from the farm, gardens and hills making this dining environment one that is truly estate centric.

The opening of the castle brings further diversity with a traditional tavern, fine dining hall, Champagne and caviar room, whisky bar, and Chinese drawing room as the principal dining venues. Each location will have their own distinct characteristics and exceptional food offering.

Taymouth Castle Golf & Sport Club is unique and so are you. Bringing your enthusiasm, energy, attention to detail, hunger to learn and personal satisfaction from knowing your food has been appreciated is what our team members are looking for from their new colleagues.
