Summary
Mitie Telecoms are looking for Design Engineers to join the team in their Glasgow office.
You will contribute to the achievement of all company objectives by collaborating positively with other internal functions. Undertaking tower analysis, re-analysis of existing models, build and analyse structures with MStower, and use your expert interpretation and validation of MStower results.
The Design Engineer will also, but not exclusively undertake the following:- Design and review of strengthening designs, approval of straightforward schemes, carry out bespoke designs including hand calculations including the appraisal, checking of bespoke design solutions carried out by others, act as a lead on site/tower inspections, undertake tower measures and inspections and provide support in tendering works.
You will also ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction delivering an efficient, accurate and cost effective solution to our clients; Ensure all company standards relating to Health & Safety, the Environment and Quality are implemented and championed, Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork striving for continuous improvement; Keep up to date with changes to industry and technical standards, whilst also ensuring the maintenance of clear and concise records in accordance with company procedures is followed.
