An established consultancy who have been around the UK market for many years and have a strong presence in the local Scottish market working in a range of sectors including education, commercial, sports facilities, large scale residential and healthcare. Due to project wins and a healthy pipieline of work they are currently hiring for both M&E design engineers at Intermediate, Senior and Principal level.
Role
- Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of all Mechanical or Electrical building services systems.
- Preparation and review of documentation eg designs, specifications, assessment reports, survey reports.
- Experience with a similar consultancy or relevant business.
- Knowledge of mechanical or electrical design within the built environment
- Report and technical note writing
- Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years post graduate work experience within a similar consultancy or relevant business.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit is ideal
- Experience with IES is ideal, Amtech, Relux,
- Use knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems to carry out mechanical or electrical building services design.
