Our client, market leader in security equipment, are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The role of the Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will be to provide high-quality mechanical designs to customer specifications and company guidelines.
What the Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will be doing:
• Design project from start-to-finish.
• Using AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor to create quality drawings.
• Understand customer requirements and produce mechanical drawings from them.
• Produce designs in-line with standards, materials, structures, and processes.
• Perform FEA analysis and valid calculations.
• Liaise with other engineers to make sure projects are completed within company procedures.
What you can offer to the Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer role:
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience using AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of design engineering processes.
• Competent in Static and Dynamic mechanical calculations.
• Attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn.
Desired experience of the Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:
• Experience with steel structures.
• Professional experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
