Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Year 3 teacher to work at a popular Primary School in the Wigan area until the end of the summer term. This school has created an environment whereby every child is pushed to reach their full potential and succeed. The core values of this school play a massive part in the curriculum, which is why this school is looking for an individual who can come in and hit the ground running. This school has accessible routes via major roads and rural roads, with easy access to on-site parking.
Your new role
This role will be on a full-time basis and will mean taking on full responsibilities as the class teacher, so this will include planning and delivering fun and engaging lessons as well as marking pupil work. You will be expected to build strong relationships with your students, ensuring they are working to their potential. You will want to strive for academic growth for the children in your class and feel confident in tailoring materials to suit the ability and learning style of individual pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills. Experience in KS2 would be desirable but not essential and NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply for the role.
If you are not a qualified teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you.
