Summary


Support in the administrative systems for Undergraduate and postgraduate education and inductions. To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Undergraduate Sub Dean,Director of Medical Education, St George’s Grenada, Firm leads and other educational staff.

The post holder will be expected to support the administration of teaching and assessments for medical students and trainees and support their learning while they are on their clinical placements at the Trust.
• To work as part of a team alongside other clerical staff within the department and to be part of a wider multidisciplinary team delivering a high quality service to other staff and patients.
• To provide a high quality reception and administrative service for the Academic Office and to ensure queries are dealt with professionally and where appropriate, take clear written messages which can be passed on to the relevant administration individuals responsible.
• Retrieve and process mail, incoming and outgoing telephone calls in accordance with Trust Policies.
• Accurately input, retrieve and collate information using departmental and Trust computer systems in a timely way being mindful of data protection at all times.
• To undertake clerical support e.g. filing, photocopying, typing and retrieval of documentation in line with Trust and departmental procedures.

• To produce weekly communication emails advertising departmental teachings and send to various email distribution lists.
• To monitor and update various email distribution lists, responsible for adding new staff joining the Trust and removing emails once staff post-holder has left the Trust.
• To facilitate the attendance of all department teachings, producing attendance sheets and recording these attendees onto Excel spreadsheet on a weekly basis.
• Issue, collate and record teaching feedback on excel spreadsheets and provide teaching certificates to speakers.
