Summary


An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Senior Clinical Fellow in Colorectal Surgery, at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (Salford Royal Hospital).

This is an established 12-month clinical fellowship that offers the opportunity for the successful appointee to develop and learn subspecialty-level skills in the management of complex colorectal disease: complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), intestinal failure (IF) and abdominal wall reconstruction (AWR).

The successful candidate will be part of the Intestinal Failure service as well as the Colorectal Unit and will take part in the emergency general surgical on-call rota (1:12- share with UGI clinical fellow). This post would be suitable for a Post-CCT SpR or for an SpR (ST7 or 8) in training who wishes to take Out of Programme Experience (OOPE).
