- and right now we are looking to recruit an Active Communities Manager to join the centre.

Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust. 

Your main responsibilities:

- Manage the health and wellbeing programme across Oxford Leisure Trust
- Achieve engagement and improvement targets
- Lead on the communication of internal and external health and wellbeing strategies and performance
- Provide support and training as required to meet the demands of the programme
- Liaise with stakeholders, trustees, board members and Oxford City Council as required
- To lead on all external funding applications
- Management and delivery of funded projects to ensure they are delivered in line with the funding objectives
- To produce reports and KPI’s required to evidence the health and wellbeing performance




What you’ll need to do the role:

- You will be working as an Active Communities Manager or similar with a health qualification level 2 or above. A relevant degree is desirable but not essential to the role.
- You’ll have experience of working and engaging with health partners, delivering health related programmes, and communicating and presenting health outcomes at a senior level.
- You will have experience of sourcing and implementing funding applications and dealing with third sector voluntary organisations.
- Competent using the full Microsoft suite
- Proven report writing skills
- Excellent customer services skills
- Proven experience using various form of social media
