Summary


An exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate has become available for a Band 3 Nursing Assistant to work at our Urgent Treatment Centre at Wansbeck General Hospital. The role involves assisting the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care. To also provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate is to be excellent at maintaining high clinical standards.

Full Training will be provided
• To assist the Nursing team in all aspects of treatment including wound closure, fractured bones and assess with observations and report to Qualified if any concerns.
• Ability to use clinical systems and send samples etc as required.
• skilled in venepuncture and cannulation, ECG recording.
• Maintain infection control standards in the department and take part in restocking of the department.
• To support junior and senior members of the team.
