North West.




More About the Role

As a Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising a small team of bakery assistants to manufacture and bake our range of
products. You will work under the supervisor of the Low-Risk Manager. You will be expected to monitor production of all goods,
effectiveness of services, ensure an accurate amount of goods are produced at the right quality and cost and to provide
administrative support to production staff. To provide a professional and effective production service, ensuring that goods are
handled appropriately, limiting the risk of damage and the distribution of goods.






Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

* Assessment of weekly production plan
* Health and Safety rules followed.
* Ensuring the level of hygiene within the department is kept to the required standard at all times.
* Staff requirements to be agreed and relevant staff briefed regarding plans for the following day’s production.
* Stock (finished and raw materials) rotated correctly and as necessary.
* Check for production runs.
* Production timings to be monitored, KPI’s reviewed, and staff are briefed on current status against plan
* Products are manufactured to an agreed specification, with each step of the process having documented work instructions for
staff.
* Product checks are carried out as necessary during production to ensure compliance to specifications.
* Photographic procedures of products where required.
* Keeping machinery in a good working order by planning maintenance.
* Adhering to the site security procedures at all times.
* Ensuring all health and safety risk assessments are completed, signed off and reviewed.
* Day to day staff management, including maintaining the time and attendance system on a daily basis.
* Carrying out training and competency checks on a regular basis.
* Complying with in-house training.
* Briefing staff daily.
* Reviewing and reporting on hours worked within the department daily against the planned schedules and discussed at production
meetings.
* Ensure all staff complete the relevant daily production paperwork.

* Previous supervisory experience in a similar role managing a team of people would be desirable
* Having worked in a FMCG environment would be desirable but not essential.
