Summary

Position: Senior Support Worker
Salary: Basic rate - £11.45, Saturday rate - £11.95, Sunday rate - £12.55
Location: Braintree

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll be at the heart of making a difference in the lives of the residents. From personal care to fostering meaningful relationships with families and friends, your role will be diverse and fulfilling. You'll empower individuals to pursue their interests, access activities, and navigate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing personalized care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, ensuring their needs and wishes are met with dignity and respect.
Assisting with personal care tasks while maintaining privacy and promoting independence.
Encouraging individuals to make informed choices in alignment with the Mental Capacity Act.
Facilitating engagement in daily activities and community networks to foster independence and fulfillment.
Supporting individuals with health needs, including medication management and appointments.
Maintaining accurate records with confidentiality and integrity.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic care.
Exploring innovative solutions, including assistive technology, to enhance independence.
Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and feedback with the team and management.
Prioritizing the wellbeing of individuals by promptly reporting any concerns or incidents.

Salary: £11.45-£12.55 per hour
