Summary


We have an opportunity for the right candidate to add to our clinical systems nurse team. This is an opportunity for a clinical CYP nurse with an interest in digital systems and care to support the Clinical Systems Nurse in improving access for CYP and Families to the service through the development of digital opportunities whilst supporting the Clinical Systems Lead in developing and improving the record keeping system within CYP to provide evidence of outcomes and quality improvement of care .

This post will support the clinical Systems Lead in the evaluation of how clinical systems are currently used by the workforce thus supporting the service line in becoming more effective in their use, reduce risk and
improve efficiencies.
The post holder will represent the service line on a number of internal and external clinical systems groups as necessary under the direction of Clinical Systems Lead. The post holder will be responsible for delivering clinical systems changes within the service line, with oversight from the Clinical Systems Lead.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting production of SOPs where they include reference to clinical systems and digital technology, working with our I-Mersey partners where necessary whilst
ensuring appropriate staff training is provided.
The post holder should be an experienced clinical practitioner who can work effectively, independently and as part of a team. It is essential that the post holder possess excellent communication skills as they will be expected to participate in task and finish groups, working groups, alongside delivering findings and recommendations to the service line senior leadership team.

The post holder will be supporting the ongoing management of existing systems and the implementation of new digital solutions across the children, young people & families service line under the direction of the Clinical Systems Lead. Provide support, information and training for the service line workforce on the use of EMIS web in order to resolve a range of user issues, whilst assisting clinicians with their understanding of
the EMIS system. Supporting the testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably at all times.
Review and support in the Development of training packages and carry out relevant systems/operational training. Support the development of relevant training materials, documents and SOPs to ensure
consistency and quality of content and delivery to meet the needs of the department.

In collaboration with the Clinical Systems Lead, internal and external stakeholders and other staff, .monitor and review the clinical systems used within the service line, with the aim of ensuring that electronic patient records support excellence in the delivery of care, outcomes and the safety of the population we serve. To provide reports from systems when required for service line and work with Performance and Intelligence (P&I) departments to ensure that data schemes are understood to enable P&I teams to report as appropriate. To support the Training Needs Analysis for the department(s).. Carry out regular audits as directed, ensuring the systems are managed and working effectively and report findings back to the Clinical Systems Lead.10. Sharing information from I-Mersey on new technical functionality and configuration provided as
part of system upgrades, including communication with staff as directed by relevant and identified system providers. Participate in the delivery and implementation of new digital solutions as the needs of service line
changes and the capabilities of existing or other possible digital systems evolve. The post holder will be fully informed on the Trust’s Digital Strategy and ensures that the children, young people & Families digital strategy is incorporated in any Trust improvement plans. This will be achieved
through collaborative working with the Clinical Systems Lead for Children Young People & Families.
Escalate incidents to IM to ensure third-party suppliers are appropriately informed; ensure al incidents are reported to their line manager and trust incident recording system
