TeacherActive are proud to be working with a provider of therapeutic children’s residential care in Solihull that has been awarded an OFSTED outstanding rating. In this 3 bed EBD home, there are several levels of support including the Registered individual a team leader and senior support workers all on site to support you in transitioning in to a new home.

Responsibilities of the Deputy Children’s home manager:

• Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the residential home ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff members, promoting a positive working environment and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

• Oversee the implementation of individual care plans and therapeutic interventions, ensuring the needs of each child are met with sensitivity and compassion.

Shift pattern as the Deputy Children's home manager:

• Day shift

• Night shift

• Overtime

• Weekend availability

Qualifications

• Minimum level 3 Residential Childcare Qualification

The Residential Home can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the support workers must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 22 years of age or older.
