Summary
Focused Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our clients manufacturing site based within the Tredegar area.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10 - 15 Production Operatives and responsible for delegating workload and overseeing takes being completed whilst also maintaining a hands on approach toward work load.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm.
Duties of the role will include:
- Identifying and allocating tasks to staff throughout the shifts required.
- Supporting the continuous improvement program and creating a culture of engagement across the team.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise
- Maintain high production standards
- Competent working with hand-held tools taking a hands on approach within a production assembly manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable of working to 5s standards and continuous improvement
- Overseeing daily production to meet targets and schedules
Desired attributes:
- Experience within a Team Leader or people management role within a similar manufacturing setting
- Understanding of continuous improvement methods
- Demonstrate good communication, interpersonal, and reporting abilities.
