Purovets are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join the team at a Tier 3 hospital status practice with a fantastic local reputation. The position is for a permanent veterinary surgeon working between 30-40 hours per week to work within the stable 17 Vet team. They are flexible with hours and working shift patterns for the right candidate, however, you will be expected to fit into the weekend rota (1 in 5 with TOIL).
They are fully equipped with all the latest equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, comprehensive in-house laboratories and much more. They offer a 24-hour service, utilising an experienced dedicated night team. They pride themselves on providing the best first opinion veterinary care to their patients, utilising their heavily experienced veterinary team in a multi-disciplinary approach. They have certificate holders in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging and ECC. They emphasise a team approach and developing the individual. The practice currently consists of 17 vets, 23 nurses and 16 support staff.
You will be working in Long Eaton, a beautiful town situated midway between Nottingham and Derby. With easy access to the M1, Long Eaton also features its own train station, great bus service and only a short distance from East Midlands Airport, making this a fantastic opportunity for commuters!
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- Between 30 to 40 hours a week
- 1 in 5 weekends, with time off in lieu
