Purovets have an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join the team at a fantastic practice in Nottinghamshire. You will be at the front line of delivering exceptional care and play an integral part of each one of the practice sites in the area. From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, you will work directly with patients and clients to offer care that is bespoke to them and provide essential support to colleagues in delivering exceptional care.
Newly expanded, well equipped and led by an experienced lead vet, the team provide fantastic services to clients in the area. You will be working alongside experienced vets who are interested in teaching colleagues, including a surgery certificate holder who has a special interest in the pet dentistry field. Their mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means you will have the very best equipment and treatment options available to you. You will be working in a spacious practice that comes fully equipped with a high-quality ultrasound machine, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ECG and much more.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week over four days with 1 in 3 half or 1 in 6 full weekends, but they are open to being flexible where they can to accommodate whatever works for you. They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
The practice is in a town a few miles from Nottingham, well-placed for access to the M1 and the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. Major cities like Nottingham, Derby and Manchester are a short drive away, offering a fantastic balance of urban and rural life.

- 1 in 3 half weekends or 1 in 6 full weekends
