An exciting opportunity to join C&I's Hospital Division Psychology Service. We are an expanding team of psychologists and CAPs working across inpatient services at Highgate Mental Health Centre.

We are delighted to advertise this fixed term post in recognition of the Trust's commitment to improve access to psychological interventions and developing Trauma Informed Care within inpatient settings for adult.

We are looking to appoint a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with excellent clinical skills and with demonstrated expertise and knowledge of working with adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties and presenting in acute distress. The post holder would work within the Hospital Division on two treatment wards.

The post is full-time but part-time hours and flexible working will be considered.

The Trust supports a wide range of training opportunities and professional development for qualified psychologists. We offer a comprehensive CPD programme including CBT, systemic and psychodynamic models.

The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment, brief 1:1 crisis focused interventions and group work, working autonomously within professional guidelines and to the overall framework of the services’ policies and procedures. The post holder will offer consultation to aid psychological care planning to non-psychologist colleagues and provide reflective practice and staff support sessions to MDTs. The post holder will utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development/quality improvement.
