Summary

Job Title: Female Personal Assistant – Social Care

Hours: 16 Hours per week (Mon & Wed) may vary flexibility required.

Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour

Location: Newcastle, NE1




Lindsay is a 41-year-old woman who lives in the Centre of Newcastle. She is looking for a personal assistant to support her with daily living.

She is a friendly, chatty person by nature who would describe herself as adventurous, she loves trying new things. Lindsay likes cooking and baking, which the personal assistant would support with, and she also likes going to the theatre with friends. Lindsay is currently learning to rock climb at Newcastle Climbing Centre and is really enjoying the experience.

The personal assistant’s role would be to support Lindsay with some domestic tasks including laundry and cleaning duties, cooking/baking and supporting her when accessing the internet. Lindsay would also like some support accessing the community, she requires a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence.

As Lindsay’s personal assistant your job will be to provide the domestic and social assistance that she needs to enable her to live in the way which she wants to. You must be able to respect her privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.

Lindsay is looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and pro-active in their work, with a sense of humour.

Previous experience of working with brain Injuries and visual impairment would be beneficial.
