Summary


We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist with excellent communication skills who is able to multi-task and work on their own initiative to join our Gynaecology team at Colchester Hospital.

This is full time -37.5 hours per week, permanent post.

Whilst previous experience in a similar is advantageous, it is not essential.

Please be aware we may close the post earlier if sufficient applications are received.
• To provide a reception service for patients attending Gynaecology appointments, working closely with clinical staff from several health service providers.
• To operate a computerised appointment system to book in and re-schedule patient appointments.
• To liaise with medical secretaries, clinical staff and medical records departments, to ensure the timely and efficient day-to-day operation of all clinics.
• To maintain an efficient appointment booking system
