Summary
Teacher Active are proud to work with an incredible Further Education/ College setting based in the Merthyr area who is looking for a top quality Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The perfect Teaching Assistant will be bubbly, enthusiastic and engaging with their students to provide the best learning environment for students to thrive in. Excellent time keeping and planning is essential to the role as well as brilliant classroom management.
The role is working closely with pupils aged 16+ with ALN who may suffer with social behavioural issues and challenging behaviours so a kind, calm and patient persona is ideal to the role. It involves teaching pupils independent living skills and helping them flourish in the outside world.

Key skills and competencies for the role:
• Teaching Qualification and/or 6 months experience working with children.
• A calm, caring and patient persona.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
