An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/ Psychotherapist/ Counsellor in the clinical dementia service of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Working in a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will provide a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service in both clinical and clinical research settings. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy alongside offering advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers.
The post holder will take part in collaborative academic research and support and complement existing clinical and support services at the Dementia Research Centre.
