Summary
Full-time Senior Nursery Practitioner, 40 hours a week, salary from £11.90 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive
- Monitor and assess children’s development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
- Supervise and support other nursery staff members
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a nursery or early childhood setting
- Must hold relevant childcare qualification NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- First Aid certification is required.
