Summary

The HR Officer – Reward, Health and Wellbeing plays an integral role in supporting the Health and Wellbeing Advisor and Health and Wellbeing Lead to deliver the health and wellbeing strategic priorities. The post holder will work closely with the Health and Wellbeing Advisor to identify, develop, implement and evaluate initiatives which aim to enhance colleagues’ health and wellbeing and contribute to the Trust being viewed as an outstanding place to work, enabling the recruitment and retention of excellent staff.

Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is a golden thread, embedded in the design and delivery of employee health and wellbeing and reward and recognition.

Work closely with the wider OD team, in support of enhancing engagement and equality, diversity and inclusion, providing support as necessary.

You will play an integral role in supporting the Health and Wellbeing Advisor and Health and Wellbeing Lead to deliver the health and wellbeing strategic priorities.

You will work with the Health and Wellbeing Advisor to identify, develop, implement and evaluate initiatives. In addition you will support in developing robust systems for the measurement and monitoring of take-up of employee benefits and health and wellbeing initiatives by Trust staff and make recommendations for the improvement of take-up.

You will produce regular communications for staff and managers promoting employee benefits and health and wellbeing initiatives in the Trust. You will be responsible for the design and maintenance of our Health and Wellbeing intranet pages, ensuring the information is relevant, up-to-date and easy to access.

Working with the Health and Wellbeing Advisor you will provide health and wellbeing support, training, advice and guidance as required.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the HR team to ensure Health and Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) are embedded as golden threads in all that we do.

You will work with colleagues in HR and Internal Communications to ensure that our annual Trust wide Staff Awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of our colleagues, and develop ideas to improve recognition throughout the year.

Support with the delivery of the Thrive at Moorfields health and wellbeing programme, taking an evidence-based practice approach that deploys interventions at an individual, group, leader and organisational level. This will include support with the delivery of the presentations to increase awareness of, and engagement with, the programme.

Work with key stakeholders to understand the wellbeing needs of the workforce.

Work with key stakeholders to research, develop and implement any new H & W initiatives.

Work with the Health and Wellbeing Advisor to develop robust systems for the measurement and monitoring of take-up of employee benefits and health and wellbeing initiatives by Trust staff and make recommendations for the improvement of take-up.

Work closely with MEH charity and Friends of Moorfields on initiatives that they fund.

Explore potential opportunities to participate in externally funded projects/initiatives.

Ensure that all work life balance, flexible working, and other benefits contribute to leveraging the skills and talents of all Trust Staff.

Communication

Produce regular communications for staff and managers promoting employee benefits and health and wellbeing initiatives in the Trust.

Respond to OD queries on the helpdesk.

Update the Health & Wellbeing intranet page by updating information and adding new benefits/initiatives when necessary.

Deliver health and wellbeing awareness sessions across the divisions.
