Summary

Deputy Catering Manager

Full Time – 37 hrs per week, term time only.
Mon - Thur 8am-4.30pm, Fri - 8.30am-1.30pm

Salary between £24,354.00 and £26,195.00 p.a. (depending on demonstrable skills and experience and qualifications)

Farney Close is a mixed independent residential special school for children aged 9 -18 who are in receipt of an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) due to their social, emotional and mental health needs. The school also supports pupils who are on the Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), have Moderate Learning Difficulties, are Dyslexic, have Moderate Speech and Language Difficulties, Communication and Language Difficulties, or difficulties with Sensory Regulation.

Situated on the A272 and the A23 intersection at Bolney, West Sussex, the school has an established and very successful reputation.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, hold relevant and up to date Supervisory Catering Qualifications and have experience in working in an environment similar to ours.

Responsible to the Catering Manager you will be part of a small Catering Team providing quality food to the young people and staff in our school. In the absence of the Catering Manager you will be required to take on their duties and confidently lead the team.

Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, SpLD, MLD and Trauma and Attachment are desirable.
