Summary
If you would like to be involved in the process of manufacturing life saving cancer treatments for adults and children, then this is the job for you!
We are looking for two committed and motivated people to join our small aseptics team.
You must possess good communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines in this busy and challenging environment. Computer literacy and attention to detail is also important.
Previous experience of working in pharmacy aseptics would be an advantage.
• 1. To carry out an accreditation for compounding of chemotherapy products, under the supervision of the senior technician, following competency-based training
1. To prepare worksheets and produce labels
1. To oversee and carry out ‘environmental monitoring’ within the chemotherapy unit, including monitoring temperatures and pressures.
1. To undertake in-house validation to sanitise raw materials and equipment for use in clean room areas.
1. To support senior technician inside the cleanroom in sanitising raw materials and equipment for use in the isolator, in in-process volume checking and using the prescription tracking system under the direction of the manufacturing technicians as required.
1. To carry out cleaning of clean room, support areas and equipment following defined standard operating procedures on a daily, weekly, three monthly and annual basis along with other general housekeeping duties required in the chemotherapy unit
