Summary


The staff wellbeing team at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust have an exciting opportunity for a psychological wellbeing trainer with a keen interest in Mindfulness based approaches.

We are a well-established team and are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic person to join us to help deliver our mental health staff support programme.The post holder will work with the staff wellbeing multi-disciplinary team, under the management of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Staff Wellbeing Lead to deliver a comprehensive mental health training offer to staff and managers across NUH.

To provide psychological support to staff at NUH via the staff wellbeing team. The post is located within the Staff Wellbeing Team and offers a service to all staff employed by NUH.

The Team is a small but busy MDT delivering a wide range of health and wellbeing initiatives to support the wellbeing of staff.

The main part of the role will be designing and delivering Mindfulness courses including MBCT-L and MBCT-D and well as a range of specialist Mindfulness based seminars such as Mindfulness for Menopause, Eat well for Menopause, Sleep etc. The delivery of workshops will be both virtually and in person.

To create and deliver bespoke Mindfulness/Relaxation sessions to staff group as the requests come in.

Please note that this role is a trainer role and does not involve clinical activity.

Applicants should have an interest in staff wellbeing in the acute hospital setting. The role involves supporting the general activities of the staff wellbeing team in particular the mental health/psychological support. The successful applicant will also support the wider work within the Staff Wellbeing Team.
