At Cressington Manor Nursery we are looking for a Trainee Nursery Practitioner to join us where you will learn all about how to provide high quality childcare and engaging learning experiences for children.
As a Trainee Nursery Practitioner, you will work with our training provider to gain your Level 2 in Childcare and will also learn the full range of practical skills and experience to become a qualified Nursery Practitioner with dedicated support from our amazing staff and management team.

Once your apprenticeship is completed with us, you may be interviewed for a permanent position with us, so your career really does start here!

To apply for this opportunity, you will need to:
• Have GCSE grade 4+ (previously C or above) in English and Maths
• Be passionate about working in the childcare sector and making a difference to children’s lives.
• Have excellent communication skills, be motivated, reliable, organised and the ability to work well within a team
• Be motivated, reliable, and able to work on your own initiative
• Have some knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage and experience of working with early years children (although this is not essential)
Duties will include:
• Supporting others and working as part of a wider team to provide stimulating activities for the children and caring for all of their needs
• Facilitating the children’s development by understanding how to plan effective next steps for them.
• Looking after and maintaining our beautiful learning environment which is key in enhancing the children’s learning.
• Working in partnership with parents and carers.
• Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are always followed,
