The Plant Maintenance Manager will supervise and allocate works within the Maintenance Department while adhering to safe practices, procedures, environmental & legal requirements.The Plant Maintenance Manager wil ensure all maintenance activities are planned, executed & delivered safely, efficiently and are cost effective
What you will be doing

- Ensure all duties required are planned & assigned to relevant personnel daily
- Work in conjunction with the hire team to ensure all equipment is idle available and ready for hire
- Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure work is prioritised correctly.
- Manage the work & behaviour of any employee assigned to your charge in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all personnel are trained & competent to operate equipment, machinery and to undertake all tasks assigned.
- Ensure that job cards are completed on allocation of work & handed in daily where practicable.
- Ensure all workshop equipment is maintained and legally compliant and workspaces are always kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure all maintenance equipment & procedural requirements are compliant in accordance with the manufacturers and Murphy quality procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are controlled in a timely & cost-effective manner.
- Ensure quality control is enforced by inspection of completed work by authorised personnel
- Identify all future training requirements for staff and workforce.
- Ensure all Murphy Plant staff carries out roles and responsibilities as agreed.
- Deliver Apprentice employment standards and encourage growth and development.
- Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance, policing timekeeping and disciplining staff;
- Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters in conjunction with the HSQE department.


Who we are loooking for

- NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivelant
- Management experience within a plant maintenance environment
- Experience in the role of yard based or mobile plant fitter
- Excellent troubleshooting ability, technical knowledge of Plant and Equipment
- Possess extensive knowledge of current practices and methods in the plant industry
