Multi Skilled Engineer - Fabric Bias
Newcastle-upon-Tyne - Full Time
As a Multi Skilled Engineer with a Fabric Engineer Bias, you will provide a building fabric maintenance and repairs service. The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of General Maintenance tasks & PPMs to several sites within a set region, whilst complying fully with HSE policies. Key duties, though not exhaustive, are listed below. This is a mobile role covering Northeast & Carlisle regions.
You will be responsible for delivering a building fabric service such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating and patch repairs. Duties will include general small repairs, lock replacements, general fabric and plumbing repairs as well as weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks if required.
You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates.
The ideal candidate would have experience of building maintenance and handyman duties, a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements within a building environment and a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.
